What: SambaViva is bringing Brazilian spirit to the Swampscott Diversity Festival – with your help!
When: Saturday, September 29, 2018
Where: City Hall lawn, 22 Monument Avenue, Swampscott
Show Time: 3:15 PM
Arrival Time: 2:00 PM (so we can do a final run through!)
Costume: SambaViva tank or t-shirt (or a colorful shirt) with black pants. Footwear should be what’s comfortable for you!
Other logistics:
– Parking is available on streets near the Swampscott City Hall
– Carpooling can be arranged in class or on social media
– Festival is rain or shine – however, the performance would be moved indoors in the event of rain
– Performance will take place on a stage platform!
– After the choreography, you are welcome to leave or stay to interact with the crowd for a short while
Choreography: Learn a short, fun medley of axé, funk and samba in Saturday classes in September, starting September 8th!
