We are partial to samba of all of the Brazilian dances, but we’re not exclusive! Get your partner dance on with the Forró Festival of Boston – the first of its kind! – brought to you by our friends, Os Forrozeiros.
What: Weekend of forró classes at all levels, nightly dance parties and fun – with live music and featuring a samba no pé and samba de gafieira class with yours truly!
When: September 14 – 17, 2017 (with pre-festival party on Thursday, September 14th at Samba Bar)
Where: Friday and Saturday at Lesley University (1815 Mass Ave, Cambridge) and Sunday at Deborah Mason School of Dance (624 Somerville Ave, Somerville)
